Location: Anderson Farm, Kettle Moraine State Forest, Eagle, WI Date/Time: Monday, May 6th Judges:  Eibhlin (I ‘lean) Glennon from WI/IL state line area Vincent Ramirez from KS General Information: The cover for the Tracking Dog test is very consistent grass and level. The Tracking Dog Excellent area will have just about anything you could train for - marsh grasses, forest, and sandy areas - depending where the Judges choose to run them. The fields are very “ticky” so please treat your dog for ticks. Please come out and watch and learn. Most of the “skilled trackers” are more than willing to help and talk to anyone who wants to get into the sport. You can also learn what the Judges are looking for by laying track. More information on the Tracking test rules are on the AKC website. Directions to site (15 min. from host hotel): From Olympia Resort, turn right on Hwy 67 South Travel about 11 miles to CTH ZZ (look for an Ottawa Lake Rec. Area sign) and turn right on CHTZZ. Travel west on ZZ for about 1 mile to the test site. Volunteers are always welcome and help make the National Specialty a success! If you have time and interest in tracking, contact Don Miller to help by laying track. No experience needed to volunteer!
